During the Italian open tournament in Lignano a review of the class of Alain Pichon occurred.
In the European Championships a protest against that decision was launched by Poland. Pending the time until the athlete has been seen again he is placed back in the previous class.
The reclassification assessment must have taken place before the end of the year according to the time schedule of the selection officer.
The results will be announced.

7 October 2007 Selection officer Nico Verspeelt presents the adjusted ranking list for Beijing 2008 selection. It's a preview that will be complete in January 2008. It implements the adujstments defined in selection criteria which impact combined classes: men 4-5, men 9-10 and women 6-7. Next update will be the final one in January.
