ITTC will select 10% of the Table Tennis athletes for Sydney through Wild cards (WC)or Team Target Players (TTP). A TTP is selected for the purpose of completing a two member team, and will also be included in the respective singles event.

-A National Paralympic Committee in good standing with IPC has the exclusive right to make such request, and will have to fill in the attached form. An athlete can only be selected as a WC or TTP if an application has been made on this or on an attached additional information form.

-The host Country (AUS) has the right to select 2 to 4 WC first.

-Every Country (besides AUS) is entitled to receive a maximum of 2 WC but can submit more applications.

-In a single event it is possible with a maximum of 1 WC for an event up to 10 player, 2 WC for a 10 -

20 players events and 3 WC for events exceeding 20 players.

The WC & the TTP is chosen by means of a vote by the ITTC Executive members.
