Table Tennis Exchange Application for

the 2000 Sydney Paralympic Games

ITTC will select 60% of the Table Tennis athletes for Sydney by Ranking. If an athlete is listed as "Ranking" then this is a selection that can be exchanged for other athletes by the NPC. Athletes can only be exchanged for other national athletes in the respective events, that fullfils the minimum selection critieria (See below). Only 30% rounded upwards of the total number of selected athletes by ranking can be exchanged by the NPC.

- WARNING! After ITTC has all the entries, the team selections are made by the cummulative ranking points of the two best selected players from the same country. Exchanging the selected players in a team could make that team not selectable, because of a lack of cumulative points!

- A National Paralympic Committee in good standing with IPC has the exclusive right to make such requests, and will have to fill in the attached form. An athlete can only be exchanged if an application has been made on this form.

The deadline to apply by fax, e-mail or regular mail to the IPC Headquarter is by February 15, 2000. Players proposed to be exchanged must have an International Classification card and be included in the January 1, 2000 ITTC World ranking list.

The final decision on selection disputes is made by the ITTC Executive members.
